Instructions for a Button Closure for Fans Bracelet

I received an email request from a customer for instructions on making a button closure for the "Fans Bracelet". She said that button closures were easier to make in terms of the nimbleness required. I agree. Those Lark's Head knots onto the ring for the lobster claw clasp can take some practice and a delicate touch.

So, I photographed and wrote up some instructions.

Any one who has previously purchased the "Fans Bracelet" pattern and would like a copy of the instructions for the button closure, you may contact me (see profile) and I will email you a copy.

You will also need a copy of "Spirals Anklet or Bracelet" (see sidebar under "Free Stuff" for your free copy) as I refer to it in the instructions for the "Fans Bracelet Button Closure".

Carol's Dream of Waves Bracelet

One of my customers, Carol Bouler Owens of "www.CarolsDream.com" makes lampwork beads and recently made a "Waves Bracelet" featuring one of her beads (see photo above).

She also has an Etsy shop - currently empty - we can only hope she lists some of those beautiful beads soon! As her Etsy profile states:

I am a Christian, wife, mother, grandmother who started making beads over a year ago in my torch room at home. I have sold to both individuals and businesses. My beads are one of a kind as I try not to duplicate anything, except for bead sets. I am also the mother to 9 dogs, all rescues from SPCA, rescue groups and friends.

I love getting photos of customer work - I love to see how they make my patterns their own! There is almost no limit to the creative possibilities of Micro Macrame!
