For the past couple of years, I have been setting up with this Seguin Farmer's and Artisan's Market - We are a small but friendly group of farmers and artisans. If you are ever in the area, come by and see us on Mondays 3-6pm in the Texas Lutheran University parking lot (south side off Court St).
Photo above shows the left side of my table (from yesterday) and photo below show the right side.
And, yes I do have even more jewelry, it just does not all fit on the table, but I do bring all my jewelry anyway and will show on request. And..., I am working on expanding my display so I can show more.
I have been invited to set up at the Wimberly Farmer's Market for the Holiday Season. I decided to give it a try and will be there tomorrow. If you are in the area, come by and check us out.
I (KnotGypsy) accept PayPal at all my online shops (including my new store (on this website - see sidebar)
And YES! you can use a credit/debit card to checkout even if you don't have a PayPal account! I know it can be a bit confusing as PayPal seems to really want everyone to have an account, so I offer the following:
You will first fill out name/address and click on "Check out with PayPal".
This will take you to a window that has your order summary on the left and "Choose way to pay" on the right.
I hope this helps...
But if you really don't like PayPal, I accept AmazonPayments at my ArtFire shop.
And if you EVER have any problems with my site or my products, please don't be afraid to contact me.
Previously there was a problem with printing and downloading the Free Downloads. I have now fixed the problem. The documents are still posted to be read here on the website - But download links have now been added so you can actually download them from this website. No more having to be referred to another of my sites!
I am loving the new features Weebly has to offer! I think I will be having some fun rennovating over the next several weeks.
My website service (Weebly) recently implemented an improved ecommerce function including the ability to upload digital (pdf) products to be available for immediate download after checkout! This means I can have a store on my website with all the options I wanted...So I signed up. You can find the new" Store in sidebar
So far I have only gotten all my patterns/tutorials listed. But, I do have plans to add categories and some finished pieces later on (as I get time as I am also working on the "Tubular" necklace and bangle bracelet pattern).
If anyone decides to try this new store, please let me know how it goes...was the process easy to understand? Did you get your download? Most importantly, let me know if you have any problems and I will do what I can to fix them.
All Holiday Specials will be in effect throughout the holiday season (until after Jan 1, 2014).
Special package deal on ALL of KnotGypsy's patterns/tutorials for $25.00 Find it here .
I have also marked down the prices on most of my individual patterns/tutorials in all 3 of my online shops (see "Shop for Jewelry Patterns and Kits" in sidebar for links).
At my ArtFire Studio, there will be FREE SHIPPING on all orders (US and Canada) totaling $20.00 or more. Use coupon code FREE-US-SHIPPING during checkout.
I will also be marking down some prices on finished jewelry as the days go by...Please stay tuned.
I have finally finished the pattern for this fun design.
Pretty easy to make and lots of fun to wear.
Recommended Skill Level: Beginner
I have listed it in all 3 of my online shops (see Shop for Jewelry, Patterns, Kits in sidebar).
I have finally finished revising, rewriting and upgrading the Victorian Lace pattern! I have added an alternate knotting sequence - Gypsy Lace, along with instructions for a necklace (with a single element and with three elements.
I think it is lovely and interesting to make!
Pattern includes instructions for two versions of the knotting scheme (14 pages with plenty of photos). - The more "open" version I call Gypsy Lace and my original, more "compact" version I call Victorian Lace. In both versions, the earrings and bracelet (with button closure) are not too complicated and need only some skill with Lark's Head Knots and Double Half-Hitches. The necklace (both versions) is a bit more complicated in its construction.
Recommended skill level: Intermediate (earrings and bracelet) to Experienced (necklace).
The pattern has been listed in all 3 of my online shops (see sidebar "Shop for Jewelery, Patterns, Kits" for links)
By popular request, I have finished the pattern for these cute little earrings. Although not very complicated, these little earrings are a challenge to make. They are knotted "in the round" which requires frequent re-pinning and some dexterity to get the knots nice and snug.
Recommended Skill Level: Experienced - (knotting experience needed)
I have listed the pattern in all 3 of my online shops (See Shop for "Jewelry Patterns Kits" in sidebar for links).
I got inspired in the making of these earrings, that I just had to experiment with that knotting "in the round" technique...and came up with these two bracelets:
Yes, I will be writing them up for a pattern and since photographing these, I have come up with a couple more ideas. I will post photos when I get a chance to take them. Gotta go for now and play with beads...
I can now accept payment through Amazon Payments at my ArtFire shop.
Although my experience with PayPal has been pretty wonderful and I fully intend to continue to use their service, I understand that this is not true for everyone. So, I have set up my ArtFire shop to accept Amazon Payments (in addition to PayPal).
Note: This is in effect at my ArtFire shop ONLY. So far, Etsy does not offer the Amazon portal, nor does my E-Junkie shop. If and when they do offer this choice, I plan on signing up for it.
