A few months ago, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. For the first couple of months, we focused on learning everything we could (he did not want chemo or radiation and I agree). I have spent most of my time integrating what we learned into our diet. I was not feeling particularly creative for some time.
A few weeks ago, I attempted to make this Serpentine Bracelet. What
would normally take me an evening to complete ended up taking almost a
week. I could only manage to work on it a little bit at a time. But, I did like the results. (I offer the pattern for Serpentine Bracelet (with a clasp instead of the button shown here.)
So, then I thought perhaps trying something simpler and quicker to make might be a better place to start. After all, something quicker would be more quickly rewarding which might motivate me more. It worked. I made one Knot Squared Flower Bracelet (simple square knots with flower beads). EDIT (30 Dec 14): I have just listed these kits at my ArtFire Shop. Find them Here.
I had so much fun making them, I decided to make matching earrings and even figured out how to make matching rings. The tricky part was connecting the ends to make a near seamless circle. I am happy with the results. I hope you agree.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, I hope to get these listed over the next few days.
Edit (30 Dec 14): Got them listed! (See above for link).
